Why the name
proimpact?
Because charitable organizations exist for impact.
And our sector is filled with professional impact creators.

🎯 Our mission
To evolve and rebrand the nonprofit sector into a more modern “proimpact sector” that is more capable of making the world a better place at scale.
🔭 Our vision
A world filled with fast-growing mission-driven organizations that build movements to create the huge positive changes we need for a better future.

From Greg, our founder
My dad was a nonprofit Executive Director, which as a kid I thought was the coolest job in the world.
But as I got older, I realized that while he found it fulfilling he was also frustrated by the sector’s lack of vision and innovation.
When he passed away during my first year out of college, working in the nonprofit world was the last thing on my mind.
But a few years later, I developed what I now consider a professional obsession: the belief that our sector can and will do things much better than we have.
I’ve dedicated my career to being part of that change.
CoachArt's "proimpact" journey
In 2016, I had the privilege of becoming an ED and leading an amazing team matching children affected by chronic illness with volunteer coaches.
We launched an app that reduced the matching time for kids and coaches from >7 hours to <7 minutes.
The strategies we implemented resulted in:

5x increase in impact

Nationwide expansion

Recognition from awards

But throughout that journey, I kept looking for resources that I could never find....
The resources we're creating
The Executive Director role requires a strategic rather than operational perspective. We're using that framework to develop opportunities I wished I had access to as an ED...

A community of growth-minded EDs

Content curated for EDs about new tools & trends

A conference just for EDs to develop scalable visions
Core beliefs
There are countless modern tactics that organizations are using to grow. But we think in addition, organizations that are growing have also adopted a new set of beliefs, adapted from old mindsets.
