People are finally saying it out loud.

The nonprofit sector is

in crisis.

Public trust in nonprofits is dropping. Government funding is being pulled back. Grant applications are oversaturated. Staff turnover is at record highs. The playbook most of us inherited was never built for this world — and it's showing.

You sense there's a better way to lead a nonprofit in 2026. A way built for the world you actually operate in, not the one the traditional playbook assumes. You're ready for something that finally fits.

You're not alone.

You're not alone.

Here's the truth

You don't need more new tactics.

EDs need a comprehensive new system.

Board meetings, conferences, podcasts, LinkedIn, consultants, vendors — everyone has a suggestion for what you should do next.

What you actually need is something that says: for orgs at your size, with your mission, and your traits — here's what's working, and here's what you can safely ignore.

That's clarity. And clarity is what creates momentum.

For the last year, we've been scouring the sector for the most effective of those tactics — and integrating them into a comprehensive, holistic free ED system.

A Future-Ready Framework for Nonprofit EDs

A Future-Ready Framework for Nonprofit EDs

A Future-Ready Framework for Nonprofit EDs

A free digital course that replaces the inherited nonprofit playbook with a cohesive, modern system for leading a future-ready organization. Built by a fellow ED. Every idea tested, gathered, and connected so you don't have to do it yourself.

Belief Shifts

Challenge the assumptions the traditional playbook trained you to accept — about identity, leadership, fundraising, and growth. Change how you think before you change what you do.

Strategies

Understand the five strategic shifts happening across the sector — in programs, fundraising, marketing, operations, and tech. See the landscape before you pick a path.

Tactics

Explore the specific future-ready approaches emerging in each area. Not a prescription — a menu of puzzle pieces to evaluate against your organization's reality.

Integration

Assemble the pieces into a Vision Roadmap for your org — and a fundraising strategy to fund the transformation. Strategic thinking becomes a fundable plan.

Hi! I'm Greg.

I'm a second-generation nonprofit leader. My dad ran nonprofits my whole childhood, and I grew up hearing the same frustrations I now hear from EDs across the sector — the short-term pressure, the overhead obsession, the sense that the model was designed around constraints instead of around impact.

For nine years, I was the ED of CoachArt, a California nonprofit serving kids with chronic and life-threatening illnesses. During that time, I did what every ED does — scoured for what was working, tried to figure out which of the dozens of "you should try this" suggestions actually deserved attention, and tried to build something that lasted beyond the next fundraising cycle.

What I kept finding was fragments. Great ideas in isolation. Organizations doing innovative things in one area but struggling in others. A LinkedIn post here, a podcast episode there, a consulting pitch that solved one problem but ignored the rest. The future-ready nonprofit system was out there — but it was scattered, and nobody was connecting it.

So for the last year, as ED of the Proimpact Project, I've been doing that work full-time. Scouring the sector. Talking to EDs. Testing what I've learned against the reality of running a nonprofit. And building the thing I wish had existed when I started. The Proimpact System isn't another framework imposed from outside. It's a fellow ED's attempt to assemble what's working — and give you a way to apply it to your organization, your mission, your moment.

I hope it's useful. And I hope, when you come out the other side, you have what I wish I'd had nine years ago: a clear vision for where your organization is going, and a plan to fund the transformation.

Thanks for being here.
